Cylindrical roller bearing

Characteristics and Applications of Cylindrical Roller Bearings:
Cylindrical roller bearings are separable bearings, with linear contact between the inner and outer rings and the rollers, low friction coefficient, and high speed limit. Bearings are easy to install and disassemble, and can generally only withstand radial loads. Only single row cylindrical roller bearings with inner and outer flanges can withstand small quantitative axial loads or large clearance axial loads; Bearings with a single edge can only withstand axial loads in one direction; Cylindrical roller bearings without inner or outer rings are used in components with limited radial dimensions. The surface of the journal or housing hole directly serves as the rolling surface, and its hardness, machining accuracy, and surface quality should be similar to the raceway of the ring.
According to the number of rows of rolling elements installed in the bearing, cylindrical roller bearings can be divided into single row, double row, and multi row cylindrical roller bearings. One of the most commonly used is the single row cylindrical roller bearing with a cage. In addition, there are cylindrical roller bearings with other structures such as single or double row fully loaded rollers.
Single row cylindrical roller bearings are classified into N type, NU type, NJ type, NF type, and NUP type according to the different ring edges. Cylindrical roller bearings have a high radial load capacity and can also withstand certain unidirectional or bidirectional axial loads depending on the structure of the ring retaining edge.
NN and NNU double row cylindrical roller bearings have compact structures, strong rigidity, high load-bearing capacity, and small deformation after being loaded. They are mostly used for supporting machine tool spindles.
FC, FCD, and FCDP four column cylindrical roller bearings can withstand large radial loads and are commonly used in heavy machinery such as rolling mills.
Cylindrical roller bearings are mainly used for medium and large electric motors, generators, internal combustion engines, gas turbines, machine tool spindles, reduction devices, loading and unloading machinery, and various industrial machinery.
