Self-aligning ball bearing

Characteristics and uses of self-aligning ball bearings:
The inner ring of a self-aligning ball bearing has two raceways, and the raceways of the outer ring are spherical, with the center of curvature of the spherical surface aligned with the center of the bearing. So, the inner ring, ball, and cage can tilt relatively freely towards the outer ring. Therefore, the deviation caused by the machining error of the shell can be automatically adjusted.
Self aligning ball bearings have two structures: cylindrical holes and conical holes, and the material of the cage includes steel plate, synthetic resin, etc. Its characteristic is that the outer raceway is spherical in shape and has automatic centering, which can compensate for errors caused by different concentricity and shaft deflection, but the relative inclination of the inner and outer rings shall not exceed 3 degrees.
Structural form of self-aligning ball bearing:
The deep groove ball bearing with dust cover and sealing ring has been filled with an appropriate amount of lubricating grease during assembly. It should not be heated or cleaned before installation, and does not need to be lubricated during use. It is suitable for operating temperatures between -30 ℃ and+120 ℃.
Main uses of self-aligning ball bearings:
Suitable for precision instruments, low-noise motors, automobiles, motorcycles, and general machinery, it is the most widely used type of bearing in the mechanical industry.
